Located at the Oshawa Municipal Airport, Corporate Aircraft Restorations (CAR) provides southern Ontario with a complete aircraft refurbishment centre.
Our capabilities encompass a large spectrum of aircraft, as we provide maintenance, exterior paint, interior restorations and fabric recovering to our immediately located customers and beyond. We perform airframe modifications and install STC operating kits as we are a fully approved maintenance organization (AMO 51.01). Restoration projects are our specialty, as we have received international recognition for a number of aircraft completed. These projects have arrived on our doorstep in many manners; from boxes and crates to aircraft in flying condition, all leaving our shop with the same high quality of workmanship.
Our hangar is regularly occupied by the classics, including Harvards (T6s), Tiger Moths, Piper Cubs, Chipmunks, and more modern-day Beechcraft and Cessnas. Currently, we are in the process of completing the interior of an authentic 1943 Stinson Reliant, specially customized according to customer's tastes.
Over the 2002/2003 winter, we completed a complete restoration of a 1941 Noorduyn Norseman. Our largest project to date, we presented the customer with a completely new aircraft following a seven-month restoration.
Most recently, we completed a Goldielocks Harvard.
