Backseats 2008

CHAA BACKSEATS AVAILABLE

Each year the Canadian Harvard Aircraft Association has numerous opportunities for its members to ride in the backseat of a Harvard aircraft or the front seat of a Tiger Moth. We try our best to keep members updated on what flights are available and when the member fly-days are taking place at our home base (Tillsonburg.)

If you or someone you know might like to experience the thrill of flying in a World War II training aircraft contact our 2008 Backseat Chair Kevin Wittet at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it or by phone at 519-842-2959.

CHAA gift certificates make a great gift for Christmas, birthday, retirement etc., and can be used toward the cost of extended backseat rides as well. For info on CHAA gift certificates, contact Membership Chair Marion Bennell at: This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it or by phone at: 519-633-0053

3191 C-FMTX

Work is progressing on 3191. The repairs to the first wing are well under way and the second wing is mounted on the jig ready for some rib replacements. In the meantime work is being done to prepare the fuselage to go to the paint shop for some work. The engine which was sent to Covington's for overhaul is back and will in all probability end up on UFZ (Bessy).
