HARVARD
HAPPENINGS
August, 2005 28th Edition
Next CHAA Meeting: Tuesday, August 16 at 7:30pm
Tillsonburg OPS Building
Guest Speaker for August: Dr. Clarence Cormier
will give an overview of what it was like to be a dentist
in the Canadian military, followed by a slide show
of military aircraft (some common and some not-so-common)
with stories and anecdotes.
What is happening…?
Donation Appeal: As most are now
aware, our balanced budget took a beating with the unexpected grounding of the
Harvards by Transport Canada until mandatory inspections and repair requirements
took place. Recently all members received a letter from our Board of Directors
asking for a suggested tax deductible donation of $50 toward these costs, and
the membership is showing its support by sending in their donations as
requested. If you have already done so, thank you! If you have not, please
consider supporting CHAA in this manner.
CHAA Website: visit this newly
revamped site www.harvards.com to read the history of CHAA and all its latest
news. There’s even a button to click to hear the ROAR of the Harvard! Our thanks
to Lance Russwurm for the many hours he has given to this information filled
website.
