Quick FAQs
The Harvard is probably the best known and most successful training aircraft of World War II. As part of the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan (BCATP) during the war, it helped train more than 130,000 Canadian and Allied Forces aircrew to become pilots, gunners, navigators and more. Referred to as both the “pilot maker” and “Yellow Peril”, the Harvard was a transitional aircraft. Pilots earned their wings on the Fleet Finch, de Havilland Tiger Moth and Fleet Cornell before flying the Harvard, and progressing to single-engine fighters such as the Hurricane, Spitfire and Mustang.
We are located at the Tillonsburg Regional Airport (CYTB) in Ontario, Canada.
We do not have museum status, but are a registered charitable organization.
Absolutely! Our primary flying season is May to October on weekends, but we can sometimes accommodate other requests. Please visit our Fly with Us page for more information.

“I came to SkyCaptain centre, because I dreamed of solo skydiving. After completion of basic course and my first solo jump I understood that sky is the right place for me. But how could I extend the time spent in the sky? SkyCaptain superiors suggested me training to become a pilot and now I am totally satisfied with my job”.

“If you want to get the amazing experience of free flight, SkyCaptain Centre is just for you. My friends gave me certificate for tandem jump as birthday gift and my journey in skydiving began. After several dozens of solo jumps I decided to join the team of fun jumpers”.

Peter Bridges
“I have nothing to do with sport and all these extreme activities, but I wanted to understand what one feels during the flight and use this experience in my book. I am very grateful to SkyCaptain Team! These guys made my first jump as safe and amazing as possible”.
